Today’s mail brought the formatted manuscript from my publisher into my inbox. The pictures still have to be frozen. But the finalized manuscript is in my hand and it looks good. As the author, I feel happy to have dedicated the last few years of my life to the making of this book. The moments of deep pain that were sometimes part of this journey seem vindicated.
The most miraculously beautiful part about working on a difficult book is that instant when it occurs to you that you are watching your creative piece finally falling into shape

When will the book finally hit the stands? Waiting for it since the day I learnt about it! Is it coming out next year?

Hi Anu… Firstly, a big “thank you” for your patience and interest in book. At many times, it’s kept me going.
Yes… The book is to go to press to next week and be in book stores by February… We are just waiting for some final pictures that we’d been promised. I will make the next post as soon as I receive an official confirmation that the book has gone to press and hopefully share the book’s cover as well:)
Also… I know I haven’t posted enough… But that’s because the struggle with this book has been intense and not everything can be shared on a blog… I’ll hopefully post more frequently now… Perhaps also about the making of the book…

Of course, writing requires immense patience, time and discipline. And trying to encapsulate 23 years of someone’s work in one book is itself a daunting task!
But you did manage to complete it finally! Congratulations and kudos for your hard work! I’m sure the book will be amazing and well worth the wait!
